Udaipur, March 3, 2025 - The 41st Annual Maharana Mewar Foundation Honours Ceremony of the Maharana Mewar Foundation was held at the historic Janana Mahal's Lakshmi Chowk in the City Palace, Udaipur, on March 2. The award function felicitated students selected for excellence in the field of academics, sports and other areas.

The awards included:
Bhama Shah Award – for students having completed a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in 2023-2024.

Maharana Raj Singh Award – For students having excelled in co-curricular, extra-curricular, games and sports.

Maharana Fateh Singh Award – For students who have excelled in academics, co-curricular, extra-curricular, games and sports at the 10th and 12th levels.

Fifteen students were honoured with the Bhama Shah Award, 17 were given the Maharana Raj Singh Award and 46 students received the Maharana Fateh Singh Award.

The students were felicitated with certificates, an award amount of Rs 11,001 and medals by Maharaj Kumar Dr Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, a member of the former Royal family of Mewar and the Managing Trustee of the Foundation.

On this occasion, Dr Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar formally inaugurating the ceremony by paying floral tributes and lighting the lamp in honour of Lord Eklingnathji and the founder of the Foundation, Maharana Bhagwat Singh Ji Mewar. Following this, students from Maharana Mewar Public School presented the Shri Ram Stuti.

Eco-friendly products were primarily used in the ceremony, on the guidance of Dr Lakshyaraj Singh. The students were given certificates made from eco-friendly paper prepared from cow dung. The use of such paper by the Foundation saves millions of trees each year and sends an environmental message to future generations.

Mohalakshika Kumari Mewar, a student of Maharana Mewar Vidya Mandir, expressed gratitude to all the distinguished guests present at the ceremony and best wishes to the honoured students.
