Sub-post office building was inaugurated in Hirnamagri by MP Arjun Lal Meena on Thursday. The sub-post office is equipped with all modern technologies and a 6 kilo watt solar panel as well. Estimated cost of this building is 90 lakh rupees.

Public can avail facilities like Adhar enrolment through this sub-post office. A sub-post office is a departmental post office headed by a sub-post master or postal assistant who works both as counter clerk and supervisor. This office offers almost the same facilities as a head-office but this usually depends on the locality.

A sub-post office in the city can offer facilities like Western Money Transfer but a sub-post office situated outside limits of a capital city may not be able to do so. All basic facilities like postal order, post office saving banks, speed posts, money orders are available in sub-post office.
