Heavy thunderstorm and rain drenched the city of Udaipur today afternoon. Many parts of the city reported waterlogging and dozens of tree collapsed due to storm. No fatal accident was reported though.

After weeks of arid and humid climate, the city received ample rain today afternoon with storm and thunder. The rain started pouring at 3pm and continued till the next 45 minutes. Almost all city areas and suburbs reported heavy to moderate rain.

Started with humidity, the Sunday turned pleasant in the afternoon when dark clouds covered the city and it started raining.

Lower areas of the city reported waterlogging which affected traffic situations. Number of trees collapsed in several areas too. However, no fatalities were reported in the mishap. Due to rain, electricity in many areas of the city got interrupted.

The sudden change in the weather turned the atmosphere pleasant.
