Surajpole choraha is about to get a face-lift very soon. The work of beautification commenced on Thursday night when Municipal Corporation demolished the traffic chowki in the centre of this choraha which is used by traffic police while controlling traffic. The chowki will be replaced by another one with a heritage look which will stand above road level. It has been reported that some people opposed the breaking of the old cabin stating its historical importance.
