The candidates of sweeping appointments demonstrated today due to stay being called on the procedure. Effigy of Rajesh Singhvi and other leaders of Valmiki Community were also burnt after demonstration.

According to Mangilal, State Representative, Valmiki Community, “Appointment of sweeping staff held under stay after complain been registered by Rajesh Singhvi, Secratery, Communist Party of India and other fake leaders of Community which has affected appointment of candidates.”

Mangilal further added that a memorandum has been given to Commissioner UMC against the stay.

According to Rajesh Singhvi, Secretary, Communist Party of India, “The application requested a proper investigation of complete procedure, as Municipal Corporation had to adopt lottery system for appointing sweeping staff as instruction of State Government.

Singhvi further informed that it is no where concern with a stay on procedure, although appointment letters of selected ones are been kept on hold.
