Teachers ask Death Wish over Losing Job

Several teachers under the banner of Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Shikshak Sangh demonstrated outside Divisional Commissioner’s office against the alleged disorder caused in the job allotment of thousands of teachers.

The association handed over memorandum in the name of Chief Minister and demanded quick action in favour of 1000 third-grade teachers from Udaipur division who were declared unqualified even after allotting the post.

According to the memorandum, the former state government revised the results of Third Grade Teacher Examination 2012, many times. However the teachers were already on Job since Sept 2012.

Teachers alleged that the former government is responsible for the disorder which has caused problem for them.

Sher Singh Chouhan, president of the association informed that, “It happened two or three times that the examination paper were re-checked and many mistakes were found in the question paper, further on the orders of court, 5000 teachers from the state were asked to leave their job.”

Chouhan said that all the teachers are already working since last 15 months and now suddenly the government is snatching their jobs.

Hence, the agitated teachers have requested to grant combined death wish to all the teachers as after losing job, they certainly will not be able to bear the expense of their families.
