-Maximum temperature saw a rise of 2 degrees.

-Spine chilling cold waves could be experienced the entire day on Monday.

The chill on Monday was quite obvious as the cold waves sent a shiver up the spine. The temperature dipped again and the drop of 0.7 degrees in the minimum temperature with the cold waves blowing the entire day were a good enough signal that this winter season is going to be much colder. Gear up as November 2020 is creating a record breaking chill.

Though there was a rise in the maximum temperature, yet the cold waves superseded the temperature and the afternoon also proved to be cold. The maximum temperature recorded on Monday was 27.6 degrees and the minimum was 7.3 degrees as compared to 25.6 and 8 degrees respectively on the previous day.

Morning walkers restricted their movement and very few people could be seen on their routine. The cold waves brought the winter wear out of the closet even during the day. Also with the night curfew that begins at 8, roads were deserted and the tourist spots witnessed countable people.

The met department says that cold waves are likely to blow the entire week and the nights will continue to stay much colder with the minimum temperature between 7 to 9 degrees. December is going to be even more chilling and the temperature is likely to be close to freezing point. Frost is expected in December and January increasing the chill further with extreme cold waves.
