Now that October is almost over and Diwali is just round the corner, it is but obvious for the weather to change. Until last year, the festival of Diwali was not as cold as it usually is but this year the changes are hinting towards the fact that the festival of lights does bring in winter season.
Until last week, minimum temperature witnessed a drop of around 4.8 degrees. This has now further dropped by 3.6 degrees within 24 hours. The maximum temperature recorded on Friday was 32.8 degrees with the minimum being 16.8.
The met department has stated that the snowfall in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand will further bring down the temperatures and the weather will get even colder. The effect can be felt with dry skin forcing people to be more careful. Winter wear is being exposed to sun and people are beginning to enjoy the rounds of tea and coffee even more. Happy winters to all.
