Happy Diwali and happy winter season to all. The festival of Diwali brings in the feel of winters and this is being experienced in its true sense now. Temperatures have further gone down and the masses are gearing up to welcome the winter season.

A drop of 1 degree was recorded both during afternoon and night on Wednesday. A slight dash of cold wave was also felt and the day was comparatively cloudy since morning. People have started making sitting arrangements to enjoy the sun.

The maximum temperature recorded on Wednesday was 27.8 degree whereas the minimum was at 10.5 degrees which was the lowest as compared to what was has been recorded until now. The effect could be seen on the roads as well. There were few people outdoors and some of them were spotted enjoying hot tea and steaming kachori and samosa.

People have now geared up for the winters. Diwali brings in a lot of excitement every year though this year the pandemic has made everyone sit back. Though shopping is at its peak with wedding season to follow Diwali, yet the crowd can be seen outdoors only during afternoon.
