-A drop in maximum and minimum temperatures was witnessed on Monday.

-The sun had but very little effect due to cold waves blowing the entire day.

We can once again say that winter truly has stepped in and cold waves are a good proof of the change in the weather. A drop was witnessed in the temperatures on Monday and cold waves overpowered the effect of sun.

Though the clouds gave way to sunlight, yet shivers could be felt due to the cold waves. The temperatures dropped very slightly, yet cold waves wanted to show their strength and gripped the masses quite strongly. There was a drop of 0.6 degrees in the minimum temperatures whereas the maximum dropped by 0.2 degrees.

It is being expected that the temperatures will drop further in the coming days. Between 15th to 18th December the temperatures are likely to be between 21-22 (maximum) and between 6-11 degrees (minimum). This clearly indicates that winter will now grip the city and that the temperatures will keep dropping.

The way fog gripped the city on 12th December was a good enough hint and it also gave a look of real hill station to the city. Every morning the hills surrounding Udaipur can be seen enveloped by fog and the chills are obviously the result of the growing winters.
