Weather has taken a different turn in Rajasthan in the past 2 days. With rain experienced in the northern regions like Delhi, many places in Rajasthan experienced rain and hail. The other areas witnessed cloudy weather.

Though this is the winter season, yet the sudden changes in the weather gave a jump to the temperatures. The minimum temperature went up by 2.3 degrees taking it beyond the 16 degree mark. Clouds are being experienced since the past 2 days, yet the afternoons have become comparatively hot.

As per the met department, the weather is likely to be dry in the coming days. Certain areas of Rajasthan witnessed rain and hail and hence the drop in temperatures in those areas, but Mewar region has become somewhat hotter than what it was 2 days ago.

Last night the minimum temperature recorded in Udaipur was 16.2 degrees whereas the maximum was at 30.6 degrees. Night was a bit warm with this rise in temperature. The met department also stated that the influence of western depression has now come to an end. Dry weather will be experienced this week. Later a drop of 3 to 4 degrees may be experienced in the temperatures due to northern winds.
