Members of the State Carriage auto and four wheeler tempo drivers labour union will be on strike tomorrow (Thursday). This decision was taken in the meeting of their representatives.

The union members will be on strike against the following issues:

• Non-issuance of new permits on all routes
• Demand for stopping issuance of routes to battery operated autos
• Demand for action against illegally operating city tempos

The members will be staging a demonstration outside the Collectorate under the banner of Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh.
