5 ARMYMEN KILLED IN TERROR ATTACK AT J&K

Friday, 21.04.23 - Five army men were killed at Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch are after the truck in which they were travelling was fired on by an unidentified group that took advantage of the heavy rain low visibilty in the area on Thursday, as per media reports.

The army vehicle caught fire , following the likely use of grenade by the attackers, media reoprts suggests.

As per reports the incidence took place at around 3 pm in the area when the vehicle was moving between Bhimber Gali and Poonch in the Rajouri area.

Five Jawans of Rashtriya Rifles deployed in the area for counter terrorism were martyred during the incidence, while another soldier was somehow rescued from the scene with severe injuries, reports said.

The efforts for identifying the perpetrators is going on.

However the traffic in the Poonch road was stopped following the incidence.
