Battle Axe Division Flags Off "The Aravali Trail Expedition"

Battle Axe Division commenced an exciting adventure, "The Aravali Trail Expedition," starting from Eklinggarh Military Station, Udaipur, on March 3, 2024. Brigadier Vishal Nayyar, the Station Commander, flagged off the expedition.

This expedition consists of a harmonious blend of trekking and cycling. A dedicated team will traverse the rugged terrain of the Aravalli Hills in the Mewar Region, covering a total distance of approximately 650 kilometers over 12 exhilarating days. It includes 500 kilometers of cycling and 150 kilometers of trekking.

During this extraordinary journey, the team will explore the remotest corners of the region, enhancing camaraderie with veterans, Veer Naris and the vibrant youth.

This initiative underscores Indian Army’s unflinching commitment to the well-being of our esteemed elders. Furthermore, it echoes the ethos of "Young India - Fit India," emphasizing the importance of a healthy lifestyle and adventurous spirit among the youth.
