JanardhanRai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University, has come up with a three months certificate course ‘Theatre & Film’. The course is being launched from this year, in a ceremony to be conducted on 8^th August 2013. Renowned Actors and Actresses from Bollywood are expected to be a part of the ceremony, which will be held at the Sukhadia Rangmanch, Town Hall.

Gajendra Chouhan, better remembered as “Yudhishtar” from the BR Chopra 80’s TV Epic ‘Mahabharata’ will be among the other actors present during the ceremony.

According to information provided by Prof. S.S. Sarangdevot, the launching, initially scheduled on 20^th July, had been postponed due to the unavailability of celebrity actor Sunny Deol.

Prof. Sarangdevot further informed that special theatre classroom had been constructed at an additional cost of Rs. 20 Lac, most of which had gone into equipping it with ultra modern facilities.

In this three month certificate course, the students will be given a basic knowledge of Theatre Art, in both practical and theory classes addressed by veteran actors and actress of Indian Cinema. Regular sessions have already started from 22^nd July, the registration forms and further details can be collected from Sharamjeevi Campus of JRN Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University on the Town Hall Road.
