In an incident of theft in Sukher area, thieves stole jewellery worth lakhs of rupees from Udai Apartment. As per reports, Shakeel Ahmed who is a banker went to Ajmer during Eid celebrations. He owns a flat in Udai Apartment on 100 feet road. The security guard of the building informed him about the theft on 26^th August.

Shakeel left for Ajmer on 22^nd August with family. The security guard of the building called him up on 26^th August informing him about the theft. Shakeel in turn informed his brother-in-law who went to check the flat with Shakeel’s neighbour. On the afternoon of 26^th August, Shakeel and his family returned to Udaipur. The thieves had broken the lock of the main door to enter the flat. They broke open the cupboards and stole expensive jewellery worth lakhs of rupees. The jewellery consisted of diamond sets, pearl sets and gold and silver. Police is now investigating the case and trying to find details from the security guard and also checking CCTV footage of the nearby buildings. The thieves also attempted theft in one other flat in the same building.
