Important Mobile Apps by Election Commission of India to help Voters Manage their Cards and Know their Rights and Candidates

To ensure maximum participation of voters in the Elections, be it Assembly or the Lok Sabha Elections, the Election Commission of India has launched various mobile apps for the convenience and assistance of voters.

To increase voting percentage, fearless and fair voting environment, redressal of voters' complaints, providing voting related information to voters and voter awareness, various apps have been created, which are very easy to use and can be downloaded from Play Store.

cVigil

cVigil app was created by the Election Commission of India to keep a close watch on the violations during the Model Code of Conduct (aachar sanhita) in force leading to the Assembly Elections 2023 and is becoming an excellent means of resolving complaints. The cVigil app allows any person to report violations of the Model Code of Conduct. The general public can send incidents of misconduct using this App. Officials will dispose of the news in a record time limit of 100 minutes. He told that the most special thing about this App is that there is an option to keep the identity of the complainant confidential. With the help of C-Vigil app, any suspicious person or irregularity can be reported at the polling station. If the candidate is luring anyone then information can be given. Voter Helpline App

Voter Helpline App has the facility to add name in Voter list, modify name, address, delete name, link Voter ID to Aadhaar, search name in voter list, polling station details, download e-EPIC. Saksham

Saksham App has been created for the convenience of specially-abled citizens. Through this, disabled people can register and make amendments. Can apply for wheel chair, search name in Voter list, get booth information. KYC - Know Your Candidate
