It seems to be a great time for thieves and robbers again. One after the other incidents of thefts are happening in the city. Sector 14 in Hiranmagri became a victim once again.

On Sunday night thieves managed to escape with a lot of expensive belongings from a lone house in Sector 14. Residents of this house were away to Delhi and the younger daughter of the house had gone to give her exam. Vasant Vihar in Sector 14 became the target of thieves. Diamond set worth 1 and half lakh rupees, gold necklace,  4 gold rings, around 18 tolas of other gold items including coins, 2 kilos of silver jewellery and more than one lakh rupees have been robbed from this house.

As per the lady of the house, her younger daughter was away for exam. The house maid came in for cleaning when she notice that door lock was broken. The maid rang up the lady of the house and informed her of the incident. The lady then called up her brother who in turn informed police. Evidences have been collected by police. Probably thieves performed a good recce of the area before attempting theft. All the stuff in the house was found scattered which shows that thieves made a thorough search before taking away all the expensive jewellery.
