A lone house in Nakoda Nagar became the target of thieves who took away jewellery and cash that was lying in the cupboard. The family went to Kankroli on Sunday and when they returned home, they found that thieves had broken in their house.

It was around 7 p.m. on Monday when Bhupendra Singh Bhati and family returned from vacation only to find that their house had been burgled. Thieves broke the lock of the cupboard in the bedroom and scattered clothes all around. The cupboard had cash and jewellery worth 70, 000 rupees which was taken by thieves. The house of the landlord on the first floor was also broken in and jewellery and other belongings were gone. The residents of the area said that the incident of theft occurred after a long time in the colony. Probably the thieves keep a watch over the people leaving their homes and target these lone houses.
