As per the figures received from various centres, thousands of candidates appeared in the Rajasthan Police Constable entrance Examination held today in the Udaipur region. 77% of the candidates who filled the form showed up to take the exam.

Another major entrance exam of RAC 12th Battalion was attended by 44% of the applicants who enrolled for it. The City’s main chaurahas and roads were jam packed and there were also traffic problems in certain areas because of the inflow of candidates onto the exam centers.
According to Kalu Ram Rawat, AdSP, Head Quarter, “68 centers were assigned for the exam of 260 positions of Police Constables. For this, 20,644 candidates filled the form but 4,803 didn’t show up. That way, 76.75% took the exam today.”
He added, “For RAC exam, 25 centres in Rishabhdev, Mavli, Kherwada and Fatehnagar were allocated where 2,690 candidates took the exam, whereas 6,015 filled the forms.”
For ensuring the successful exam procedurals, one Police team was present at each centre and there were 9 flying squads present at their disposal. No case of cheating came into light in the exams.
