Udaipur is among the cities identified for construction of state of the art public toilets under the Smart City initiative.

Other cities in Rajasthan include Jaipur, Bikaner, Kota and Ajmer.  Around 34 sites will be covered in these cities.  Hundreds of toilets will be constructed across these sites in the cities mentioned.  These sites will include markets, stadiums, government office complexes, hospitals, public squares and junctions, urban parks, bus stations and bus stops.
