Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has emphasized the need for enhanced marketing and branding of Rajasthan’s tourist attractions at the global level. Addressing a review meeting of the tourism department on Thursday, November 21, 2024, he stressed promoting the state’s fairs, festivals, and historic sites to attract more international tourists.
The Chief Minister stated that his government is committed to boosting the tourism sector through skill development programs. He announced that employment opportunities will be provided to 20,000 youths and folk artists within the next two years. The initiative will include training in traditional art forms and hospitality to enhance their employability.
During the meeting, the CM reviewed progress on key tourism projects, including the Maharana Pratap Tourist Circuit, the fossil park, and the open rock museum in Jaisalmer. He urged officials to ensure these projects are completed on time to attract more visitors.
The government also plans to strengthen the tourism sector by integrating local art, culture, and heritage into the state’s marketing strategies, further showcasing Rajasthan’s rich traditions to the world.
