A tourist destination is soon to come up near Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUT). Situated near Pratapnagar crossing, the hilly region near new administrative building of MPUT is to be developed in a tourist destination similar to Moti Magri.

The area was visited and analysed by Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria on Wednesday. He assured a State Government aid for Maharana Pratap’s statue on this hill. He also gave his approval for drip irrigation on the hills for developing it into a green area. Home Minister also assured that the water tank on the hill will be repaired and allowed it to be used for irrigation.

The hill is to be developed for tourist purposes. It will be developed as a tourist destination as it gives a good view of Fatehsagar, Pichola and the entire city.
