Considering the traffic rush during diwali, traffic police has made certain route diversions for a three day period. As part of that, the road from Rang Nivas to Jagdish Chowk has been marked as no-vehicle zone. The arrangement came into effect with Dhanteras and will last for 3 days.

Considering the traffic rush during diwali, traffic police has made certain route diversions for a three day period. As part of that, the road from Rang Nivas to Jagdish Chowk has been marked as no-vehicle zone. The arrangement came into effect with Dhanteras and will last for 3 days.

With closure of Rang Nivas to Jagdish Chowk route, motorists will have to go to Jagdish Chowk via Ravji ka Haata. Traffic police also fined vehicles parked in the no-parking zone in heavy traffic areas.

Route diversions for the three day period will stand as follows:

  • Road from Surajpole to Delhi Gate, Collectrate Circle will remain closed for passenger vehicles, tourist vehicles and roadways vehicle. Motorist will have to go via MPUAT, Durga Nursery road, Ashok Nagar and Shastri Circle.
  • Tourist vehicles will not be able to ply from Doodh Talai crossroad to Rang Nivas, Jagdish Chowk
  • One-ways at Rangnivas, Hathipole and Chandpole will be strictly enforced.
