A motorcyclist was killed in an accident at Udaipur’s Baidwas, Pratap Nagar Highway while overtaking a running truck this afternoon. Ranglal s/o Kalulal Jain, the victim of the accident, had a transportation business named Kamlesh Transport at Transport Nagar. His family is currently living in Mumbai. While overtaking a truck, the deceased Ranglal, lost his balance and crashed into a truck. Due to the crash, his body was trapped in the rear wheels of the heavy vehicle. The accident was so grave that Ranglal’s body was crushed into pieces.

The truck driver was unaware of the incident when it occurred and accidently carried Ranglal’s body more than 20 feet before he realized. When he realized that the body was lodged in his tires, he fled from the abandoning his truck on the highway.

The Udaipur based transport businessman was heading toward his home for lunch.

A large crowd gathered at the spot immediately after the mishap occurred. A few of the people gathered also covered the deceased’s body with cloth till police has arrived.

When the news reached Transport Nagar, where Ranglal was working, many businessmen rushed to the hospital where the dead body was being kept.

The Pratap Nagar highway is always considered one of the most dangerous highways in Udaipur. Some locals who were present at the scene when the accident occurred also mentioned that the deceased might not wearing his helmet at the time of accident. Instead he had hung it by his handle on his motorbike.
