Electricity of several houses at Moti Magri Scheme is interrupted after a huge tree fell down due to heavy downpour this evening. Administration, including UMC and Electricity department came into action, but also said that the electricity won’t be available till morning.

A huge Neem tree collapsed blocking the road at Moti Magri Scheme today evening; the tree fell due to heavy rain and storm.

Ajay Porwal, local area corporator said that the rescue team from UMC and Electricity Department are informed about the incidence and power has been cut as precautionary measure. “Electricity supply won’t be available till morning”, said Porwal.

Residents of Moti Magri have to spend their night in the dark.
