40 CRPF jawans lost their lives in this attack. India avenged the attack through Balakot airstrike.

Jammu and Kashmir witnessed the worst day on 14th February 2019 when the terrorists attacked the CRPF jawans. An explosive laden SUV claimed the lives of 40 jawans at 3:15 p.m.

Post the attack, India had massive protests against the attack and Balakot airstrike was the apt revenge against the terrorists. After this attack, there was also a huge protest of the Pakistani artists who were working in Indian films. The people had threatened to vandalise the sets of Indian films if they had any Pakistani artist working in their films. 

Balakot airstrike was conducted on 26th February 2019 where 12 Mirage and 2000 jets of Indian Air Force crossed the LOC and dropped bombs into Balakot.The Pakistani terrorists killed in this airstrike were reportedly between 300 and 350. 

Today is the day when all Indians remember 14th February as the "black day" in the history of India.The day has been avenged but the hearts still burn for the martyrs. A heartfelt tribute to all the CRPF jawans from the team of Udaipur Times.
