A truck met with an accident today due to imbalance on a rugged slope. Two people, the truck driver and his helper have been injured in the accident that occurred at around 11 am near Charan Kamal Restaurant, Balicha around 9km from Udaipur.

According to Goverdhan Vilas Police, the truck was on the way to Ahmedabad but while passing through the slope a few meters ahead of Charan Kamal Restaurant, it rolled-over leaving the driver, Shankar, resident of Ratanpur seriously injured. His helper, Sabir Hussain, resident of Modasa, Gujarat has also been admitted to the M.B. hospital for several minor injuries and bruises.

“The passers-by called the 108 Emergency Ambulance when they saw the accident”, said a Police official from the Govardhan Villas Police Station. He added, “the driver has serious leg injuries and is still unconscious”.
