Udaipur, February 10,2025 - Israeli forces have shot dead three Palestinians, including a pregnant woman, in the occupied West Bank. Meanwhile, Israel's military offensive has forced over 35,000 people to flee their homes in Gaza. The war in Gaza has caused heavy casualties. According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, at least 48,189 people have died, and 111,640 have been injured. Gaza’s Government Media Office has updated the total death toll to 61,709, including many who are still missing under the rubble and are now presumed dead.
Former U.S. President Donald Trump has reiterated his controversial idea of taking control of Gaza. Speaking on Air Force One on February 9, 2025, he described Gaza as a “big real estate site” and suggested that Middle Eastern countries could be responsible for its redevelopment. Hamas strongly rejected Trump’s proposal, calling it a “recipe for failure.” The group criticized Trump for treating the Palestinian issue like a real estate deal.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised Trump’s proposal, calling it “revolutionary” and “creative.” He made the statement during a cabinet meeting after returning from Washington, DC.
