January 21, 2025 – The United States got their 47th President yesterday, January 20, after Donald Trump was sworn in as President at a ceremony held inside the United States Capitol rotunda in Washington, D.C.
Following the inauguration, President Trump signed executive orders to reverse 78 Biden-era policies. The signing ceremony took place during a public event in Washington, where Trump was presented with a stack of documents that he signed one by one, showing each to the cheering crowd, less than six hours since he took oath.
"We will sign executive orders first to revoke nearly 80 destructive and radical executive actions of the previous administration," he said, minutes before signing them.
He signed more orders later after reaching the White House.

Illegal Immigrants Entry Will Be Stopped
The US Customs and Border Protection's CBP One programme has been shut down. This allowed immigrants to make appointments for entry through an app.
"All illegal entry will immediately be halted, and we will begin the process of returning millions and millions of criminal aliens back to the places from which they came," Trump said, adding that he would order the deployment of troops along the border immediately.
Mexico Border to Be Sealed; Military Deployment
To prevent infiltration into the US, an emergency will be imposed on the Mexico border. The military will also be deployed and the work of building a wall on the border will be accelerated.
Transgender System to Be Ended
The transgender system will be abolished in the US. From today, the official policy of the US government will recognise only two genders: male and female.
Federal workers
Another immediate step is a requirement for federal workers to return to full-time, in-person work.
Electric Vehicles: Saving the Auto Industry
The Green Policy of EVs (electric vehicles) will also end.
Drug Cartels Will Be Declared Foreign Terrorists
These will be declared foreign terrorists. The Foreign Enemies Act of 1978 will be applied to eliminate any foreign gangs.
Freedom of Speech
Trump will direct the federal government to restore freedom of speech and prevent any future government censorship of free speech.

The aim of this decision is to promote American energy production. American energy will be exported worldwide. Energy development in Alaska will be given priority.

Instead of taxing our own citizens to make other countries prosperous, we will impose tariffs and taxes on other countries, Trump said.
Withdrawal from Paris Climate Agreement
Trump is withdrawing the US from the Paris Climate Agreement and will inform the United Nations of this decision through an official letter.
