Iran Denies Attacks on UAE as the Emirates Alleges Attacks on Oil Facilites
Udaipur, May 4, 2026: The UAE is tense once again. Media reports from the region and across have said that the UAE Air Defences have been activated and have been intercepting missles and drones in many parts. Sirens blaring across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Fujairah have once again put the residents under stress after a peaceful few days following the ceasefire.
No Plan to Attack UAE
Iran meanwhile has denied reports of attacking the UAE , while firefighters were battling a blaze in the ADNOC oild field, which as per authorities was an attack by an Iranian drone. Additionally, the alerts reportedly began as the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs accused Iran of taragetting and ADNOC linked tanker in the Strait of Hormuz, as per media reports.
Iran's denial of attack comes after media reports of attack on the aforesaid oil facility at Fujairah. Iran state media has reported that Tehran had no plans to attack the UAE, as per a senior military officer. UAE also reported that it intercepted four missle attacks.
Iran Denies US Claims
Senior military officers from Iran have also refuted the claims made by US claiming sinking tiny Iranian boats. Earlier in the day, US CENTCOM Commander Adm Brad Cooper said that US forces eliminated 6 small Iranian boats that he alleged were interfering with commercial shipping in the Strait. IRGC said that no commercial or oil tanker passed through the Strait of Hormuz in the day, rejecting the US statement as "false and baseless".
