Ubeshwarji forest area is going to be developed as a new tourist destination. The foundation stone for the development of this area under DMFT project was laid on Sunday by home minister Gulab Chand Kataria.

“Shiv Van”, the forest area of Ubeshwarji will soon be developed as a tourist destination. The home minister issued directives for installing swings and a bathing pond at the water fall area of the forest. Para-gliding, rope-climbing and supported rope climbing will also be an added attraction from the temple at Ubeshwarji. Forest conservator OP Sharma also spoke to the home minister about Shiv jhoola, view point, wall, entry gate, eco-trails and plantation on the hills of Ubeshwarji. Emphasis was laid on abundant plantation of bilv-patr since the area is known for Lord Shiva’s temple.
