During the Chief Minister’s recent visit to Udaipur, the Udaipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI) provided important suggestions for the development of the Udaipur division. The focus of these recommendations was on boosting mining, tourism, and industrial development to create new job opportunities.
UCCI President M.L. Lunawat highlighted the need for sustainable development and infrastructure improvements. The Chamber presented a detailed report on several key areas, including upgrading Udaipur Airport to international standards, smart traffic management, and designating Udaipur as a UNESCO World Heritage City.
The report also addressed initial challenges in infrastructure projects, improving the water quality of Udaipur’s lakes, establishing a comprehensive sewage system, and managing municipal waste to prevent groundwater pollution. UCCI emphasized the importance of upgrading the electricity supply for industries and relocating the FCI warehouse and All India Radio station to promote the expansion of the IT sector.
Honorary General Secretary Dr. Pawan Talesra stated that the Chief Minister responded positively to the suggestions. The Chief Minister was also invited for a visit to UCCI.
