Udaipur, January 29, 2025 - The UDA freed two pieces of land from encroachment on January 28, 2025. The total worth of these lands is over Rs 25 crore. The encroachment removals took place in Nela village and Manva Kheda.
UDA Commissioner Rahul Jain said that in Nela village, land numbered 2130, 2132, and 2133, covering approximately 5 bighas, is registered under UDA. The estimated value of this land is around Rs 5 crore. A boundary wall and permanent structures were illegally built on this land.
A team led by Tehsildar Dr. Abhinav Sharma took action to remove the encroachments. Using a JCB machine, the team demolished the unlawful boundary wall and structures, reclaiming the land for UDA.
Another encroachment removal took place at Manva Kheda. A team led by Tehsildar Dr. Abhinav Sharma demolished 10 illegal shops that were built on 2 bighas of land. The estimated value of these shops was Rs 20 crore. JCB machines were used to demolish the illegal constructions, and UDA regained possession of the land.
UDA has taken a firm stance against illegal encroachments and will continue such actions in the future. Authorities have urged people not to occupy government land illegally, as strict measures will be taken to remove encroachments.
