Maharana Pratap Airport, Dabok has been declared as “no- plastic zone”. Going ahead, passengers and vendors at the airport will not be allowed to use plastic cups, carry bags etc. As per the Airport Director Kuldeep Singh Rishi, the anti-plastic step has been taken after the notification of 18th March passed by the government.

Plastic is hazardous for health and environment. Hence, bio-degradable or jute products will be used instead of plastic. All steps are being taken to maintain this airport as a no-plastic zone. It may be noted that Udaipur airport stands second in the category of non-metro airports in India.
