Udaipur based news anchor accused of murder in Noida

A female news anchor allegedly fell from the 4th floor of her building in Noida. A senior news anchor hailing from Udaipur has been accused for the murder.

Radhika Kaushik (25) hailing from Jaipur and working as news anchor in Noida allegedly fell from the 4th floor in a Sector 77 Noida. Family and friends claim that she has been pushed to her death. The incident occurred on Friday morning. As per police reports, Radhika was consuming liquor with a senior colleague before she fell to her death. The senior colleague Rahul Awasthi who hails from Udaipur has been detained by police for questioning.

Rahul has been working in Noida for the last 5 years with the same news organisation. When interrogated by police, Rahul informed police that he was in the washroom when Radhika fell from the balcony. Radhika’s flat mate however claims that she could have been killed and Rahul is the only person who could have killed her. Investigations have begun in the case.
