Udaipur Bomb Threat: Panic After Email Warning at District Court
Udaipur District Court receives bomb threat via email mentioning the time of 1:00 pm; police rush to the scene as panic spreads across the Court premises
Udaipur, March 30, 2026 – Panic spread after news surfaced that the Udaipur District and Sessions Court had received a bomb threat via email on Monday (March 30). The time mentioned in the email was for 1:00 pm.
As soon as the information was received, people evacuated the Court premises and much commotion was seen all arouhnd.
Police were informed immediately, after which the Bhupalpura police station team reached the spot without delay. An Emergency Response Team (ERT), comprising of 20 Commandoes of ERT, ATS, rushed to the spot and are involved in investigation. A sniffer dog squad, too, was pressed into service.
No update is yet available as to the source and motive of the email threat.
