Udaipur Cops prepare to fight Human Trafficking

To wipe out human trafficking activities in the region, a two day training session for police officials on Anti Human Trafficking has started today in the form of seminar at Udaipur Police Line.

On the first day of the program, a short film on Anti Human Trafficking was shown to police personnel at the seminar hall in Police Lines.

To wipe out human trafficking activities in the region, a two day training session for police officials on Anti Human Trafficking has started today in the form of seminar at Udaipur Police Line.

On the first day of the program, a short film on Anti Human Trafficking was shown to police personnel at the seminar hall in Police Lines.

40 police officers including sub inspectors and senior officers were present in the seminar led by Inspector General of Police Govind Gupta and Superintendent of Police Alok Vashishta, the second part of the training curriculum will be conducted tomorrow.

While addressing the media, S.P Alok Vashistha said, “This is a two day seminar, and more than 40 officers have participated. We will train every officer by updating them on how to tackle the issue of Anti Human Trafficking using new techniques.”

The officials did a discussion on the measures to deal with the subject were dialogued.

The issue of Human Trafficking is a serious concern as a number of reports have been registered on illegal migration of people, especially from the tribal belt of Mewar to neighboring states for labor work, many for working in cotton farms. These people are often subject to being traded by illicit traffickers.
