Dr Dinesh Kharade informed UdaipurTimes that after Pratapgarh, Udaipur has become the second city in Rajasthan where all positive cases have recovered.

Dr  Dinesh Kharade, in his update to media today, informed that all the 4 positive cases of COVID in Udaipur have recovered. 

As per latest stats, the total number of samples tested in Udaipur are 518.  Of these, 186 were tested tested twice.  This takes the number of samples tested to 704. The samples of the only 4 cases in Udaipur have been tested negative, which means that Udaipur has 0 Positive Cases of COVID as on date.

All 4 are normal, with just one patient still having slight cough and cold. Till date, the Corona Center at MB Hospital has surveyed 11,58,206 houses and screened 48,33,060 people.  Across Udaipur district, the total number of people under 14 day Home Quarantine is 75,416.  The total number of people put under Institutional Quarantine in Udaipur is 1,184, with a present count of 915.

Dr Dinesh Kharade, thanked the people of Udaipur for the support given to the administration and assisting the administration in keeping the spread of the virus under check during the first phase of the Lockdown.  Being a tourist city, and one of the first to have encoutered a potential COVID case in the state, the current status is a phenomenal achievement, for the administration, the healthcare teams and the people of Udaipur.

In the next lockdown phase, it is important for the people to be careful to ensure that the status of the city stays the same.
