The foggy conditions have been affecting the city's routine, creating challenges for transportation. Last Wednesday, despite a temperature rise, persistent haze limited visibility to 1500 meters. Four trains were delayed, causing chaos with delays from 40 mins to 3 hours. Foggy mornings disrupting the city's rhythm, turning commutes into challenges. Even a temperature reduced didn't clear the haze, leaving passengers stranded with delays up to 3 hours.

The Khajuraho Express (19665) arrived at the City Station around 8:15 AM, nearly two and a half hours behind schedule from its scheduled time of 6:30 AM. Similarly, the Shalimar Express (20972) arrived at 8:41 AM instead of its planned time of 5:35 AM.

The Chittorgarh Passenger train (09602) arrived at 9:42 AM, which is later than its usual arrival time of 8:45 AM. Similarly, the Badi Sadadi Special (09612) pulled into City Station at 9:46 AM instead of its scheduled time of 9:05 AM. Throughout the day, there was a slight decrease in the sun's intensity, resulting in a milder climate. In the last 24 hours, there has been a marginal increase of 0.1 degree in the maximum temperature, reaching 26.6 degrees. This is 0.6 degrees higher than the December average of 26 degrees.

The minimum temperature has experienced a rise, registering at 9.4 degrees, reflecting an increase of 0.8 degrees. This stands 1.2 degrees higher than the average for this month, which is 8.2 degrees. In the coming days, an active western disturbance is anticipated. Nevertheless, there are no indications of a substantial decrease in the minimum temperature as a result of its influence.
