The district administration has initiated preparations for the upcoming Gandhi Darshan Kumbh, scheduled to take place on September 24, 2023. This significant event is designed with the primary objective of fostering mutual brotherhood within our society while also instilling the timeless principles of Mahatma Gandhi in the hearts and minds of both the youth and the general populace. The program intends to serve as a platform for bringing together people from diverse backgrounds and communities, thereby encouraging greater understanding and unity among them. Through various activities and engagements, the organizers aim to promote the core values of Mahatma Gandhi, such as non-violence, truth, and social harmony, as guiding principles for contemporary life.
A meeting was convened at the Collectorate Auditorium on Tuesday 19 September, 2023, chaired by Shri Vinay Pathak RAS and attended by Peace and Non-Violence Cell Convenor Pankaj Sharma. During the meeting, Pathak emphasized the importance of ensuring that the upcoming one-day event is a memorable and successful one. He issued clear instructions to ensure that all necessary arrangements, including accommodation facilities for participants arriving from various parts of the state, are efficiently organized.
