In a significant move to enhance emergency medical services in the region, Udaipur’s District Collector Arvind Poswal inaugurated three new 108 ambulances on Monday, March 11, 2024. The event was marked by the presence of Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Dr. Shankar Bamania, alongside other dignitaries.

The newly introduced ambulances will serve at the Community Health Centres (CHCs) of Jhadol and Jawad, and the Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Bawalwara. This step comes as a part of the effort to replace old ambulances.

With the addition of these three vehicles, Udaipur district's emergency response capability has significantly improved, now having a total of 40 state-of-the-art 108 ambulances and 3 bike ambulances.

This initiative is a step forward in ensuring that timely medical help reaches those in need, thereby strengthening the emergency medical services network within Udaipur district.
