Udaipur’s I.G Amrit Kalash was seen today with his brother Jyoti Kalash. What is more interesting is that, both are identical twins and both are serving as top ranked officers in Government of India. Jyoti Kalash is also an IAS officer (1990 batch, Nagaland cadre).

Jyoti Kalash is presently in Udaipur to meet his brother Amrit. The bystanders and government employees at district collectorate were amazed to see the Inspector General of Police with his identical twin brother.

Presently posted in Delhi, Jyoti Kalash has been known for his multifaceted character. He is a passionate rally driver, represented India twice in ASEAN Car Rally, and he is also fond of acting and did several short roles in Bhojpuri and Bollywood movies.

While serving the country, Jyoti Kalash was posted on different assignments at Afghanistan and Belgium. Ravindra Rajhans, father of Jyoti and Amrit is a renowned poet and Padma Shri Awardee (2009).
