Udaipur, December 7,2024 - Ishan Pandya, a resident of Hiran Magri Sector 14 in Udaipur, has been selected for the position of Assistant Commandant in the Indian Navy. He secured the third rank in the All India examination for the post.

Currently, Ishan is in Chennai, where he is undergoing Lieutenant training after being selected for the Army officer rank.

Ishan’s father, Sunil Kumar Pandya, shared that Ishan cleared the Navy Assistant Commandant exam in his first attempt.

Ishan completed his early education at St. Anthony's School in Udaipur, where he scored 90% in the science stream. He later graduated with a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Rajasthan Technical University Kota with first-class honors.

Since childhood, Ishan has aspired to join the armed forces and has been dedicated to his studies. His father, Sunil Kumar Pandya, is a Physical Education Teacher at the Government Senior Secondary School in Balicha. His mother, Pragya Pandya, works at the Indo-American B.Ed College in Balicha. The family is originally from Saroda village in Dungarpur district.
