Three Dead in Road Accident Near Kotra Udaipur
The deceased were riding a motorcycle and were on their way from Mandwa to Kotra
Udaipur, Feb 18, 2026: Three men in their early twenties died when they met with an accident near Udaipur. The accident happened late evening on Tuesday, Feb 17, near Kodarmal village in Kotra sub-division of Udaipur district.
As per reports, the three men were riding on a motorcycle without helmets. They were on their way from Mandwa to Kotra on the highway. They attemped to overtake an auto going in the same direction, and a speeding jeep was approaching from the other direction. Reportedly, the bike lost control and crashed with the auto. The impact was so severe that one of the men died on the spot. The other two who were seriously injured, were taken to the community health center at Kotra, where they succumbed to their injuries. All three belonged to Kotra, and were aged 23, 24 and 25. The families of the deceased were informed and the bodies were placed in the hospital mortuary.
The police have registered the case and are doing further investigations.
