A man was given a 15-day jail term by the Udaipur court for preventing a public servant from performing his duties and for destroying official records.  According to reports, a court official visited the accused Abhimanyu Singh's home in the city's New RTO neighborhood with an attachment order due to the accused's repeated failure to make payments on a car loan.

The employee went back to the police office and requested that Singh be the subject of a case at the Sukher police station. On Thursday, the offender was taken into custody by the police and presented in court.

The accused was placed in judicial custody for 15 days by the additional judicial judge of the PCPNDT Court. According to Nitesh Menaria, the investigating officer for the Sukher police station, Abhimanyu Singh has a vehicle loan in his wife's name that has been due for the past four years. The accused tore the papers, then threw them on the worker's face.
