With a roaring arrival of the season, everyone wants to witness the city’s beautiful lakes  brimming with water. Udaipur’s Fatehsagar Lake, which has the capacity of 13 feet, is currently at 6 feet and is likely to overflow if it rains anything around average this season.

On consulting with the Irrigation Department’s Pushkar Paliwal (Draftsman) said, “450 to 500 mm rainfall is enough for the lakes to pour out depending upon how much it rains in a day.”

Though the general forecast by the meteorological department is not optimistic, this year’s monsoon is expected to be weaker as compared to that of last year.

It was a cozy day in the city today, as there was no rain in the city though it was pretty cloudy all day long. The sun showed up later in the day.
