Udaipur Panchayat Election 2026: Check Revised Schedule

UdaipurTimes, Oct 6, 2026 - The State Election Commission has revised the election schedule of the panchayat election for Udaipur district where polls are being conducted in three phases across a total of 1,593 polling stations. As per the new schedule, voting in the third phase will not be held on Dhanteras, November 6.

According to the revised schedule, elections for zila parishad and panchayat samiti members in Udaipur district will be held in three phases on October 22, October 28 and November 3, while elections for panch and sarpanch will be held on October 24, October 30 and November 5, respectively. Counting of votes will take place on November 20.

Following the counting, the election for Zila Pramukh will be held on November 25, Deputy Zila Pramukh on November 26, Pradhan on November 27 and Deputy Pradhan on November 28.

Elections are proposed to be held in 590 gram panchayats across 20 panchayat samitis in Udaipur district.

District Election Officer Gaurav Agrawal said the election for sarpanch will be conducted through ballot papers, while elections for panchayat samiti and zila parishad members will be conducted using EVMs.

First Phase
The first phase will cover 284 gram panchayats across 10 panchayat samitis, with 826 polling stations. These include Jhadol, Phalasia, Ogna, Girwa, Nai, Mavli, Ghassa, Vallabhnagar, Bhinder and Kurabad. Notification will be issued on October 8. The last date for filing nominations is October 13, until 3:00 pm. Scrutiny of nomination papers will be completed on October 15, while the last date for withdrawal of nominations is also October 15, until 3:00 pm. Election symbols will be allotted the same day.

Voting will take place on October 23, from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, while counting will be held on November 20.

Second Phase
The second phase will cover 189 gram panchayats across six panchayat samitis, with 458 polling stations. The panchayat samitis included in this phase are Gogunda, Sayra, Badgaon, Kotra, Deola and Sulawan. Notification will be issued on October 13. The last date for filing nominations is October 16. Scrutiny will take place on October 17, while the last date for withdrawal and allotment of election symbols will be October 19.

Voting will be held on October 28, from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Third Phase
The third phase will cover 117 gram panchayats across four panchayat samitis, with 309 polling stations. Kherwara, Nayagaon, Rishabhdev and Kalyanpur will be included in this phase. Notification will be issued on October 19. The last date for filing nominations is October 23. Scrutiny will be conducted on October 24, while nominations can be withdrawn until 3:00 pm on October 26. Election symbols will also be allotted on October 26.

Voting will take place on November 3, from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, with counting scheduled for November 20.

Panch, Sarpanch Election Schedule
First phase: Voting on October 24, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Second phase: Voting on October 30, from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Third phase: Voting on November 5, from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Counting will take place immediately after the polling ends in all the above phases.

The elections for Upsarpanch will be held on October 26 in the first phase, November 1 in the second phase and November 7 in the third phase.

Zila Pramukh and Pradhan Elections - November 25 to 28
Election for Zila Pramukh will be held on November 25, Deputy Zila Pramukh on November 26, Pradhan on November 27 and Deputy Pradhan on November 28.

A meeting will be held at 10:00 am each day. Nominations can then be filed until 11:00 am. Scrutiny of nomination papers will begin at 11:30 am, while withdrawal deadline will be 1:00 pm. Election symbols will be allotted thereafter.

Voting will be conducted from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, followed by counting immediately after. The same procedure will be followed for the elections to all four posts on their respective scheduled dates.
