Getting a major breakthrough on the ‘NH-8 loot case’ that was registered on 7th June 2012; today Udaipur Police team arrested one of the gang members responsible for the same and is interrogating them for further details.
Getting a major breakthrough on the ‘NH-8 loot case’ that was registered on 7th June 2012; today Udaipur Police team arrested one of the gang members responsible for the same and is interrogating them for further details.
The loot under which the arrest has been made was executed on the 7th June at nighttime at Amli Ghati, Near Borikuan on National Highway 8.
“A special squad was formed for the investigation of the case, including Ataur Rehman, Additional SP; Rajeev Prachar, CI (IPS); Gabbar Singh, Constable and Hanumant Singh, Constable who cracked the case and made the arrest today” informed Hariprasad Sharma, SP.
With the help of sound Technical investigation they caught Mohan s/o Motaji Meena resident of Karji, which falls under Rishabdev Police. He was then interrogated in which he accepted the loot he was accused of on the 7th June, 2012 and also revealed that he along with his gang members had been engaged in such loots on the National Highway before.
During the interrogation, Mohan also revealed that one of their female gang members would pretend to hitchhike at night and under the false pretentions they would bluff the car drivers and rob them. They also used torches to stop locomotive vehicle on the curvy roads in the nighttime.
The Police team was led by Rajeev Prachar, CI (IPS), Goverdhan Villas Police Station.
