Udaipur Postal Department introduces BBPS for PLI and RPLI premium payments, pay instantly via mobile apps like BHIM, PhonePe, Google Pay and Paytm
Udaipur, March 26, 2026 - The Udaipur Postal Department, keeping the convenience of policyholders in mind, has made premium payments for Postal Life Insurance (PLI) and Rural Postal Life Insurance (RPLI) simpler and more digital.
Now, premiums for both schemes can also be paid through the Bharat Bill Payment System, which is operated by the National Payments Corporation of India.
This facility introduced by the postal department has been implemented across the country from the evening of March 25, 2026. With this, policyholders can now instantly pay their premiums digitally from anywhere.
With the implementation of the new system, people will no longer need to stand in long queues at post offices but can now make payments within minutes through mobile phones.
According to the postal department, customers can now easily pay premiums through integrated payment systems, internet banking and mobile payment platforms such as BHIM, PhonePe, Google Pay and Paytm.
